Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: June 3, 2026 Effective: June 3, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes what you may and may not do with ClientForge Lab (the "Service"), operated by Crystal Palace Metals Inc. Using the Service means you agree to this AUP. It is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service.
1. Why This Policy Exists
ClientForge Lab helps small businesses communicate better with their customers. Keeping the platform trustworthy, legal, and safe for everyone depends on every user respecting the boundaries set out here. Misuse can harm your customers, other users, our infrastructure, and our ability to operate as a business.
2. Prohibited Uses
You may not use the Service, or permit anyone else to use it, for any of the following purposes:
2.1 Spam and Unsolicited Communications
- Sending bulk unsolicited messages (spam) via email, WhatsApp, or any other channel supported by the Service.
- Sending any message that violates the CAN-SPAM Act, including failure to include an unsubscribe mechanism in commercial emails, use of deceptive subject lines, or failure to honor opt-out requests promptly.
- When SMS functionality becomes available: sending messages without prior express written consent of the recipient as required by the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and any applicable carrier guidelines. It is your sole responsibility to maintain records of consent.
- Importing or using contact lists obtained through purchase, scraping, or any method that did not obtain affirmative opt-in consent from the recipients.
2.2 Harassment, Threats, and Abuse
- Sending messages that harass, intimidate, threaten, or bully any individual or group.
- Engaging in or facilitating any form of hate speech, discrimination, or abuse based on race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
2.3 Malware, Phishing, and Fraud
- Sending or distributing malware, viruses, ransomware, spyware, or any malicious code through the Service.
- Conducting phishing attacks — using the Service to deceive recipients into providing passwords, payment information, or other sensitive data.
- Impersonating any person or entity, including misrepresenting your affiliation, identity, or business.
- Engaging in any form of fraud, including deceptive billing practices or misrepresentation of products or services.
2.4 Intellectual Property Violations
- Uploading, transmitting, or distributing content that infringes the copyright, trademark, trade secret, or other intellectual property rights of any third party.
- Using the Service to process or transmit unauthorized copies of proprietary software, media, or other protected materials.
2.5 Unlawful or Adult Content
- Using the Service to create, transmit, store, or promote content that is unlawful under applicable federal, state, or local law.
- Transmitting or promoting adult content, pornography, or obscene material through the Service.
- Facilitating illegal gambling, unlicensed firearms sales, controlled substance sales, or any other regulated activity without required licenses and compliance measures in place.
2.6 Competitive Intelligence and Scraping
- Scraping, harvesting, or otherwise systematically collecting data from our platform, our website, or from third-party services accessed through the Service, except where expressly permitted by our API documentation.
- Using the Service to build a competing product or service, or to collect information intended to be used against us competitively.
2.7 Reverse Engineering
- Reverse-engineering, decompiling, disassembling, or attempting to derive the source code or underlying algorithms of any part of the Service.
- Testing the Service for security vulnerabilities without our prior written consent (responsible disclosure inquiries should be sent to security@clientforgelab.com).
2.8 Unauthorized Resale and Commercial Exploitation
- Reselling, sublicensing, or otherwise making the Service available to third parties as a hosted service or as part of your own product or service, without our prior written consent.
- White-labeling or rebranding the Service without an explicit written reseller or white-label agreement with Crystal Palace Metals Inc.
2.9 System Abuse
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, other users' accounts, or our backend systems.
- Submitting excessive requests (API abuse, denial-of-service, load testing without authorization) that degrade Service performance for other users.
- Circumventing account limits, rate limits, billing controls, or access restrictions.
3. Responsibility for Your Users
If you allow other individuals (employees, contractors, clients) to access the Service under your account, you are responsible for ensuring they comply with this AUP. A violation by any user of your account is treated as a violation by you.
4. Reporting Abuse
If you believe someone is misusing the Service — including sending spam through our platform, conducting phishing, or engaging in harassment — please report it to:
We take all abuse reports seriously and will investigate promptly.
5. Enforcement
We reserve the right to take any of the following actions in response to an AUP violation:
- Warning: For first or minor violations, we may issue a written warning to your registered email address and require you to stop the violating activity.
- Suspension: We may temporarily suspend your access to the Service while we investigate suspected violations or while a warning is outstanding.
- Termination: For serious, repeated, or uncured violations, we may terminate your account permanently.
No refund will be issued if your account is terminated for an AUP violation. Termination for cause under this AUP constitutes a termination for breach under our Terms of Service.
We may act immediately and without notice if a violation poses a risk of harm to other users, third parties, or our infrastructure, or if required to comply with applicable law or a valid legal order.
6. Legal Compliance Is Your Responsibility
Nothing in this AUP relieves you of your obligation to comply with all applicable laws and regulations in connection with your use of the Service, including anti-spam laws (CAN-SPAM, TCPA when SMS is enabled), data protection laws, consumer protection regulations, and any laws governing your specific industry (e.g., HIPAA if you operate in healthcare). We provide tools — you remain responsible for how you use them.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this AUP from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the current version. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised AUP.
